ARS 2.1.2 Features (Released Feb, 7th 2008)
- Completely under your control. Exclusively runs on your domain - no external reservation servers needed.
- No additional reservation costs or other fees.
- Displays different booking views - month-, week- and day view. AJAX in month view - displays bookings bookings as tooltip on mouse over. Hide sub resources by default in month view adjustable. Only month view visible for unregistered users (Privacy).
- Displays "My Bookings" to logged in users and "All bookings" to administrators. Table sorting in "My bookings" or "All bookings" when clicking on headlines. Merge booking records - bookings of main- and sub resources are
displayed by only one record in "My bookings" or "All bookings" table. In booking lists the max. number of bookings are adjustable by the user. Pagination for large tables.
- Manage of Resources by administrators in front end.
- Manage almost as many as desired resources like e.g. Airplanes, Boats, Tennis Courts, Driving Schools, Meeting area etc. in different languages at
the same time within the system.
- Individual resource types by default can be booked "only as a sub resource ".
- In the booking form only bookable main resources will be indicated in the selection menu of "resources". In the booking form only
those sub resources are displayed which are assigned by default to the selected main resource.
- Booking resources and services at the same time, e. g. airplane with instructor, tennis court with trainer and racket etc.
- Booking users as a resource
- ARS airplane reservation component comes with installer for JOOMLA.
- Completely integrated into the JOOMLA user administration.
- No additional log in for members required.
- Send e-mail notifications to members or external mail addresses.
- Adjust different parameter for the reservation times and the duration of the reservations:
Time periods for bookings 1 minute up to 31 days
Minimum time for bookings 1 minute up to 31 days
Display ans adjust of bookable times of day
Allow or disallow overnight bookings
Max. booking time in CP for time slot booking functionality added.
- Individual indication of the charter conditions or terms of use.
- Administrators can change, cancel or delete reservations of all members.
- The layout is CSS based. The look and feel of the component can be changed within one CSS file.
- ARS is designed for multilingual operation and modified for international character sets. All language constants can be adapted in the appropriate language file. ARS is currently available in German, English and Turkish languages. Other languages can be added at any time.

- Extended user administration by ARS specific data in front end by administrators.
- AJAX for week and day view - direct bookings from the week or day view are possible.
- Printable lists of "My bookings" or "All tbookings" tables.
- Manage contents of the notification mails via the CP.
- Database Mangement - additional features like "delete old bookings" etc.
- Flight license and medical check
- Different reservation times settings, e. g. only reservations
between 9 and 12 AM and/or 2 and 5 PM are on certain days
possible.
- ACL - Access Control. Who may do what? Assign or forbid access permissions for different users.
- Manage color settings via the Admin CP
